Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in after 4pm. Check-out by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
Property Access
- Rental guests have access to the grounds around the lake house, all hiking trails, and may fish in the lake.
- Guests are not permitted inside the lake house or on its patio.
- ATVs are not permitted on the hiking trails.
- As the two fireplaces at Woof Lodge are gas logs, guests are not permitted to bring any firewood to the home at all for any reason.
Policies and Rules
- No smoking allowed.
- Minimum age: 25 years.
- Children allowed.
- No events allowed.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- The Sweetgrass neighborhood does not permit firearm discharge, fireworks, golf carts, dirt bikes, four wheelers, loud music, or other objectionable noises that disrupt the quiet environment.
- During quiet hours (10PM – 8AM), all outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- Sweetgrass observes a catch and release fishing policy.
Fees and Payments
- This home is pet friendly. Allowing one dog for an additional rent of $25 per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Parking and Vehicle Information
- Free parking is available. It is plowed in winter with fully paved access on mostly level roads. AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended for all homes during winter months.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- Well stocked kitchen with utensils and cooking basics provided.
- Starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These items are enough for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided.
- Dishwasher, oven, toaster, clothes washing machine, clothes dryer, and ironing board & iron are available.
- High-speed internet, climate control, and TV are available.
- Hair dryers are not provided.
Safety and Emergency Information
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present.
- This community has new development and construction on neighboring lots. You may hear and see heavy vehicles and equipment during your visit.
Cancellation Policy
- Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
- Bookings canceled within 59 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
